The Rear Cargo Shelf is a purpose‑built storage solution designed to make the most of the Grenadier’s rear cargo space. Made from 3mm aluminium for the ideal balance of strength and low weight, it creates a second tier of usable storage — perfect for awkward or lightweight items such as camp chairs, recovery gear, ropes, jackets or soft bags.

Load Guidance

The shelf is intended for light gear only — items such as chairs, ropes, jackets, or soft equipment. Use common sense and avoid placing heavy items overhead.

Fitting

1. Attach the back panel as shown with the bolts supplied
2. Attach the side brackets but leave the bolts loose for now.
3. Remove the plastic covers on the roof. Be careful with the bolt holding the front plastic trim on…If you drop the bolt you will need to pull down the trim underneath to get to the dropped bolt….
4. Insert the new trim pieces. these should just snap into plate. make sure the bolt holes line up.
5. Now this part is easier with 2 people but can be done on your own. Lift the shelf into position and screw in the M8 bolts, leave loose.
6. Once all the M8 bolts are in you can start to tighten… don’t go mad.
7. Now position the shelf and start to tighten the M6 bolts. Start with the front bolts closest to you, that way it will hold the shelf in position whilst you lean over to get to the rest of the bolts.
8. give it a shake and make sure you haven’t missed any bolts….
9. Load her up… ok use your common sense here… don’t got mad with heavy stuff up here. I have put my chairs here, snatch rope, just light gear.
